Non-public investigator Lucas Douglas (Michael Weston), a character motivated partly by Shore's adore on the Rockford Documents, seems in a few episodes of Time five. House initially hires Douglas to spy on Wilson, who may have finished their friendship after Volakis' Demise (the friendship is subsequently rekindled). House afterwards pays Douglas
